TrueVee® trumpets are designed for the professional trumpet player who performs a variety of musical genres and needs a smaller bored instrument to produce a more focused sound required by certain music. We have concentrated our efforts on the design of small-bore, harmony trumpets, cornets, and a flugelhorn with horizontal valve slides. We feel our designs have resulted in the creation of a superior product. TrueVee® bells are hand-hammered from a single piece of brass. Our valves are made from corrosion-resistant Monel® metal and each instrument is assembled by hand and continuously measured for accuracy. All TrueVee® instruments are finished in raw brass. We feel lacquer dulls the sound and silver-plating darkens it; but raw brass produces a pure, rich tone. |
TrueVee® Model PT-1 Piccolo Trumpet

The TrueVee® PT-1 Piccolo Trumpet is an excellent instrument for Baroque, Modern, and any style of music in between. It has three valves with a 3rd valve rotor and comes in 100% raw brass. The PT-1 comes with four leadpipes: two trumpet leadpipes for Bb & A and two cornet leadpipes for Bb and A. Case & mouthpiece not included. Each trumpet is made-to-order so please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.

TrueVee® Model PT-2 Piccolo Trumpet

Like the PT-1, the TrueVee® PT-2 piccolo trumpet is an excellent all-around instrument for any kind of music. It has four valves (the 4th dropping the pitch a perfect 4th) in 100% raw brass. The PT2 comes with four leadpipes: two trumpet leadpipes for Bb & A and two cornet leadpipes for Bb and A. Case & mouthpiece not included. Each trumpet is made-to-order so please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.

TrueVee® Model C-1 Eb Cornet

The TrueVee® C-1 was designed for playing solo works and is just the ticket for the Haydn, Hummel, Nuruda, or any other 18th Century trumpet concerto. The C-1 can also be used on Baroque works where the score is too low for piccolo trumpet and to high for a Bb or C trumpet. The C1 is made and finished in 100% raw brass. Case & mouthpiece not included. Each cornet is made-to-order so please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.

TrueVee® Model FL-1 Bb Flugelhorn

The TrueVee® FL-1 Bb Flugelhorn is designed for a nice deep, velvet sound with minimal resistance throughout all registers. It is an excellent jazz horn as well wonderful on the occasional Mahler Post Horn Solo. In fact, it can be used on anything requiring a darker sound than a trumpet or cornet. The FL-1 is made and finished in 100% raw brass. Case & mouthpiece not included. Each cornet is made-to-order so please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.
